The WVGS library is a non-circulating research library. Members may research at no charge. Non-members are welcome as daily researchers for a donation of $5 per day.

The WVGS Obituaries Project is ONLINE!  An index to obituaries published in the Daily News Sun is now on the web, copies of obituaries may be ordered from the Society Click here for details.

Do you want to learn about your ancestors & have fun? Are you busy during the day? Do you have a little time on a Thursday evening? We can help you.  Make a reservation for one of our Thursday sessions.

 

Special Library Research Evening - This is for the newly curious or experienced researchers. On the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5-9 pm, the Society hosts a research night.  Membership is not required to attend. Bring your own brown bag supper; a beverage and dessert will be provided with a $3.50 donation. 

 

If you are interested in researching your ancestors and building a family tree, join us and meet other members, browse the library's collection, use the internet access and learn the benefits of membership. There is always someone there that can help you on the computer, or answer any any other questions you might have.

 

(Non-members are welcome for a $5 per day research donation.)
