WVGS CLASSES/WORKSHOPS


To help you with your Genealogy, we offer a variety of basic-advanced Genealogy related classes/workshops.  Sessions are held in our Library in our Traditional classroom and our New PC classroom. We cover the ins and outs of Genealogy, Genealogy Libraries, Genealogy Computer Programs, Technology Aids, Preserving Memories and Photos.


DESCRIPTION CLASSES INSTRUCTOR

NOVICE GENEALOGY   

   This class will focus on the first steps needed to get you started on your research.  

   No prior knowledge is necessary.

   There will be a new class the 3rd Friday of each month. 

   Friday, 1-3 PM, every 3rd Friday unless noted   

   Class Cost $9 Members, $11 Non-members

   Learn about best practices for digitizing, restoring, organizing, preserving, and sharing your digital image collections - online and offline. You will learn which resolution (dpi) to choose, which file types are the best (.jpg, .tif, etc.), and much more.
